UFC 228 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the second episode for this weekend’s big show in the Dallas, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.
We start off in Vegas at the Performance Institute with Darren Till. He talks about his preparation, and he’s ready to “f–kin’ fight”. Quickly we’re off to Tyron Woodley’s house in Missouri. He works out in his basement on a treadmill while his kids play around him, so he gets the best of both worlds. He talks about Till being young and hungry, but said their speed and power are not at the same level. He then cuts a short promo in the sauna.
Now we’re getting closer to Dallas. Valentina Shevchenko is working out in Fort Worth. She talks about not wanting to go to the judges. Her training regimen is toned down a little of fight week so she can get some rest.
Over in Albuquerque, Nicco Montano is visiting a physical therapist and it hurts. She’s getting deep tissue work on her problem areas, which cannot feel good. It shows on her face. Back to Vegas, where Till discusses his need to try to take the attention off of himself. He says is life is pretty good, but now it’s all about the fight.
And that’s it! UFC 228 goes down this Saturday in Dallas.
