Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returned to the UFC Fight Pass network last Saturday (Oct. 24, 2015) for the UFC Fight Night 76: “Holohan vs. Smolka” mixed martial arts (MMA) event, which took place inside 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland.

As with most combat sports events, athletes tend to get hurt when they’re repeatedly punched in the face. So it should come as no surprise to learn that 12 of the 20 combatants participating overseas were flagged for injuries sustained inside the Octagon.

As for how that affects their timeline for return may depend on the medical community.
