The Ultimate Fighting Championship made its Salt Lake City debut on Saturday with UFC Fight Night 92: Rodriguez vs. Caceres at Vivint Smart Home Arena.
Although main eventers Yair Rodriguez and Alex Caceres didn’t bring a lot of drawing power with them, they delivered an exciting fight that was good enough to lead the charge on the post-fight bonuses.
Rodriguez and Caceres battled back and forth for five rounds with Rodriguez eventually getting the split-decision nod. Neither backed down at any point in the fight, and neither ever stopped trying to find a finish, earning each man a $50,000 bonus for putting on the Fight of the Night.

The two Performance of the Night bonuses went to preliminary card fighters.
Heavyweight Marcin Tybura surprised many by scoring a devastating walk-off head-kick knockout over Viktor Pesta, while Teruto Ishihara dropped Horacio Gutierrez with a left hand and then landed several more punches en route to a first-round TKO stoppage.
