Streaking UFC middleweight contender Derek Brunson will continue his march toward a 185-pound title shot when he tangles with dynamic striking specialist Uriah Hall in the UFC Fight Night 94 co-main event, locked and loaded for this Saturday night (Sept. 17, 2016) in Hidalgo, Texas.

Prior to their upcoming showdown inside State Farm Arena, Brunson (15-3) used his social media account to inform Hall (12-6) that inside information was being revealed. Specifically, allegations about “Prime Time’s” use of performance-enhancing drugs.

“I heard it from a legit source, so I decided to let him know,” Brunson told Bloody Elbow about last July’s tweet. “If you put it out there; that you think somebody is gonna be doing it for that fight, they’re probably gonna be less likely to do it, because they know that the eyes are on them.”

UFC fighters are regulated by United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA), which vows to ramp up drug testing in the second half of 2016. That’s likely to yield another round of failed tests, based on the high-profile hits from over the summer (like this one).

Hall, it should be noted, has never tested positive in his professional MMA career.
