Another UFC fighter has been downed by a tainted supplement.

Undefeated heavyweight prospect Justin Ledet has accepted a four-month, anti-doping suspension after testing positive for a banned substance due to a contaminated supplement, USADA announced Wednesday.

Ledet, 29, tested positive for “a metabolite of 1-testosterone and 1-androstenedione” in an out-of-competition drug test from a sample collected Jan. 12, according to a USADA release. Subsequent testing of a supplement declared by Ledet in his sample collection paperwork at a WADA-accredited laboratory in Salt Lake City discovered the presence of banned anabolic agents in the product, which has since been added to USADA’s list of high risk supplements.

Ledet’s suspension is retroactive to Feb. 1, meaning he will be cleared to compete in June.

Ledet (7-0) has thus far won both of his UFC appearances, first capturing a unanimous decision over Chase Sherman, then finishing Mark Godbeer via first-round submission. The 28-year-old Texas product is one of the few up-and-coming heavyweights in a UFC division generally bereft of young talent.
