The UFC International Fight Week is here, and MMA Fighting has you covered with all the details.
This year’s Fight Week, which is being highlighted by two fight cards — The Ultimate Fighter 25 Finale and UFC 213 — will go down from Wed. July 5-Sat. July 8, in Las Vegas. The weeklong activities that are open to the public will go down at the MGM Resorts neighborhood area, which includes the T-Mobile Arena, Toshiba Plaza, and Park Theater at the Monte Carlo Resort and Casino. Fans can also download the UFC International Fight Week app, which is scheduled to launch on Monday, for additional information on the events.
Below is a schedule of the events and activities happening on UFC International Fight Week:
Wednesday, July 5
At 12 p.m. PT fans will have the opportunity to attend the live taping of FOX Sports 1 UFC Tonight. The event, along with the rest of the activities planned for Wednesday, will take place at the Park Theater. At 1 p.m., both the stars from UFC 213 and TUF 25 will hop on the mats for the open workouts. Doors open at 12:30 p.m.
And at 3 p.m., Megan Olivi will host the ‘Women of UFC’ panel which features strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk, Cris ‘Cyborg’, former bantamweight champion Miesha Tate, and strawweights Michelle Waterson and Paige VanZant.
To close the first day of UFC International Fight Week, fans can attend the live taping of FOX Sports 1 TUF Talk at 7:30 p.m.
Thursday, July 6
Like Wednesday, all activities on Thursday will also be at Park Theater, but will start a bit later, as the UFC legends panel kicks off the day at 3 p.m.
This is event is followed by the TUF 25 weigh-ins at 4 p.m. and then by the UFC Hall of Fame induction ceremony at 7:30 p.m. The inductees for 2017 Hall of Fame class include former WEC featherweight champ Urijah Faber, veterans Maurice Smith and Kazushi Sakuraba, and former UFC matchmaker Joe Silva. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Friday, July 7
On Friday, things will get started with the first autograph session of the week from 9 to 11 a.m. at the T-Mobile Arena lobby. Over a dozen fighters and Octagon girls will be in attendance including: bantamweight champ Cody Garbrandt, strawweight champ Joanna Jedrzejczyk, Anthony Johnson, Tony Ferguson, Stephen Thompson, Michelle Waterson, Julianna Peña, Joseph Benavidez, James Vick, Misha Cirkunov, Luciana Andrade, Vanessa Hanson and Chrissy Blair.
And at 11 a.m., the UFC fan experience will get going at the Toshiba Plaza. The event is scheduled to run until 4:00 p.m. During that time, the UFC 213 weigh-ins will take place at 2 p.m. at Park Theater, and the TUF 25 Finale fight card, which is headlined by Michael Johnson and former WSOF lightweight champion Justin Gaethje, will begin at 3 p.m.
Saturday, July 8
The last day of the UFC International Fight Week will be the busiest. The second autograph session will be the first event of the day, and it’ll go down from 9 a.m.-noon at the T-Mobile Arena lobby. This session will be split in two with the first part running from 9-10:30 and the second from 10:30-noon.
The earlier session will include: Kevin Lee, Miesha Tate, Urijah Faber, Tony Ferguson, Tito Ortiz, Stipe Miocic, Claudia Gadelha, Dustin Poirier, Raquel Pennington, Jon Anik, Brooklyn Wren, Megan Olivi, and Red Dela Cruz.
While the latter part will feature: Max Holloway, Jorge Masvidal, Forrest Griffin, Francis Ngannou, Don Frye, Bas Rutten, James Vick, Rose Namajunas, ‘Minotauro’ Nogueira, Michelle Waterson, Brittney Palmer, Arianny Celeste, and Jamillete Gaxiola.
Immediately after the autograph session, the UFC fan experience will begin at 1 p.m. from the Toshiba Plaza and will run until 5 p.m. During that time, the UFC 213 fight card will begin at 3:30 p.m.
The official UFC 213 after–party will be the last event of the annual International Fight Week; the after-party begins at 10 from the Hakkasan at MGM Grand.
