The UFC Moncton main event just witnessed the company’s #10 light heavyweight Anthony Smith choke out the #2 Volkan Oezdemir. The opening round saw Oezdemir let loose with a punching flurry that had Smith pinned up against the cage, which was probably the most exciting exchange of the opening round. Then, it was Smith who had the blitzing flurries in round two, prompting Oezdemir to score a takedown with tons of top control. Come round three, Smith realized a takedown before taking the back and locking up a rear-naked choke. What a win for Smith!
