Former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski led the disclosed payroll at UFC Norfolk, serving as one of eight fighters to clear the six-figure mark in earnings for his performance. The Virginia Department of Professional & Occupational Regulation released the event’s finalized salary information on Wednesday to MMA Fighting.
Arlovski outpointed heavyweight prospect Junior Albini to snap a five-fight losing streak and win a unanimous decision on the night’s main card. Arlovski cashed $250,000 in the winning effort, handily emerging as the top earner from the UFC Norfolk card, which took place Nov. 11 at the Ted Constant Convocation Center in Norfolk, Virginia and aired live on FOX Sports 1.
The seven other fighters on the stacked UFC Norfolk card who cleared the six-figure mark in earnings were: Matt Brown ($150,000); Marlon Moraes ($140,000), a former WSOF champion who picked up his first UFC victory; Anthony Pettis ($135,000); Dustin Poirier ($130,000), who defeated Pettis via third-round TKO in the night’s main event; Sage Northcutt ($120,000); Clay Guida ($114,000); and Raphael Assuncao ($113,200).
In addition to their commission-reported salaries, Poirier, Pettis, Brown, and Assuncao also took home $50,000 fight night bonuses for their performances.
A complete list of the UFC Norfolk salaries can be seen below. As always, these figures do not represent a fighter’s total earnings, as certain sponsorship incomes or discretionary bonuses are not publicly disclosed.
