The UFC on FOX 20 early weigh-ins took place Friday morning in Chicago, where all the fighters left on the card made weight.
There will still be a public weigh-in Friday afternoon for fans to tune in and watch, but the official weights were recorded before Illinois State Athletic Commission officials in the morning.
Main eventers Holly Holm and Valentina Shevchenko easily made weight for their five-round bantamweight bout. Holm, the former UFC champion, stepped on the scale at 135 pounds, while Shevchenko was well under the mark at 133 pounds.
The card also features a pivotal lightweight bout in the co-main event with former Strikeforce champion Gilbert Melendez returning from a one-year suspension due to a anti-doping violation. He’ll try to climb back into the championship mix when he squares off with dynamic striker Edson Barboza. Both men tipped the scale at 155 pounds.
