Held (22-4) last fought on May 20 at Bellator 155, defeating Dave Jansen in a rematch by unanimous decision.

A 14-fight Bellator MMA veteran, Held is the most recent Bellator lightweight to be signed by the UFC. Former Bellator lightweight champion and current UFC titleholder Eddie Alvarez was signed in 2014 and Will Brooks was the reigning Bellator 155-pound champion when the UFC signed him in June.
