Check out this incredible heavyweight flying knee knockout from UFC Sydney.
UFC Sydney was blessed with a heavyweight flying knee knockout, as Tai Tuivasa dusted Rashad Coulter at 4:35 of the opening round. With the incredible KO, Tuivasa won his UFC debut, moving to 8-0, and surely gave the UFC heavyweight division something to think about. Check out this incredible highlight below.
Check out Mookie Alexander’s play-by-play of Tuivasa’s sensational flying knee knockout of Coulter:
Round 1 – Coulter immediately ties up Tuivasa and puts him up against the fence. Tuivasa reverses position but not much happens and they separate the clinch. Hard left hook stuns Coulter and they clinch again. Knee to the head by Tuivasa doesn’t look to have landed. Coulter takes Tuivasa down but Tuivasa does well to scramble to his feet. Stiff jab and then a leg kick by Tuivasa. Left hook scrapes across Coulter’s stomach. Hard body kick and a right hand by Tuivasa, and a failed trip may cost Coulter here. He unloads a couple of punches before they clinch again. Huge elbow and Coulter felt that. His output is higher than Coulter’s, and he just dropped Coulter with a leg kick. Coulter gets up and then immediately gets destroyed by a flying knee, and I mean destroyed. The follow-up punch from Tuivasa missed, otherwise Coulter would’ve gone from “out cold” to “extremely out cold.” That was a vicious KO.
Official result: Tai Tuivasa def. Rashad Coulter by KO (flying knee) at 4:35 of round 1
