Bantamweight contender Aljamain Sterling uploaded a video where he mocked Daniel Cormier’s weigh-in at UFC 210.
Daniel Cormier has made all the headlines this weekend, but for all the wrong reasons.
Cormier, who will defend his light heavyweight title in a championship rematch against Anthony Johnson at UFC 210, initially hit the scales overweight during the official weigh-ins.
‘DC’ weighed in at 206.2 pounds on his first attempt but returned to the scales two minutes later and hit the target of 205 lbs. Many fans were quick to point out how Cormier looked to be using the towel for leverage during his second weigh-in, alleging that the defending champion was trying to shift his weight to appear lighter than he actually was.
Cormier’s rival Jon Jones said it was one of the ‘dirtiest’ things he has ever seen in the sport, but No. 8 ranked UFC bantamweight contender, Aljamain Sterling, took a lighter stance and mocked Cormier for the controversy on Instagram.

Sterling, 27, has lost two in a row and will look to rebound against Augusto Mendes at UFC on FOX 24 on April 15.
Cormier will defend his title against ‘Rumble’ later tonight, April 8, at UFC 210. The pay-per-view, which also features a co-main event between Chris Weidman and Gegard Mousasi, takes place at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York.
