Bellator 163: “McGeary vs. Davis” goes down Nov. 4, 2016 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. A match a year in the making will see “Mr. Wonderful” Phil Davis cash in his title shot against light heavyweight champion Liam McGeary.
The last time McGeary was seen in action was Sept. 19, 2015 when he submitted Tito Ortiz with an inverse triangle choke in a successful title defense. Since then, McGeary has been sidelined by injury and unable to return until now.
Davis earned his title shot that same night and defended that right earlier this year in San Jose. For a man who was once ranked as one of the best light heavyweights in UFC, a title fight has been a long time coming.
Perhaps that’s why now on the eve of a historic Presidential election, Bellator is asking you to cast a ballot of a different kind and vote with your remote on Nov. 4. In the videos seen below, “Mr. Wonderful” explains his campaign platform.
