Check out the best knockouts from a memorable year in boxing.
If 2016 was a bit of a dud for boxing, 2017 was an excellent one. Several truly great fights, outstanding individual performances, multiple stadium shows in the United Kingdom, the creation of the World Boxing Super Series tournaments, and yes, knockouts. Lots and lots of knockouts.
Our content partners at Fight Hub TV created a great compilation of some of the best boxing KOs of 2017. The top knockout of the year was WBC super-flyweight champion Srisaket Sor Rungvisai demolishing Roman “Chocolatito” Gonzalez in their highly-anticipated September rematch. At the 6:21 mark, you really should check out the video game-like finish by super-middleweight (168 lbs) David Benavidez against the very tough Rogelio Medina. If you look at 2:30, you can see Terence Crawford unifying all of the major 140-pound belts with his body shot stoppage of the previously unbeaten Julius Indongo.
Sit back and enjoy the viciousness of these fight-finishing blows.
