Video: Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz jaw in awkward, expletive-laden CNBC interview … then Nate walks out

Money talks, but you can’t force Nate Diaz to do the same.

The former lightweight title challenger sparred with UFC 196 pay-per-view (PPV) main event opponent Conor McGregor over the CNBC airwaves during the week and among the topics of discussion was finance. With CNBC being one of the more well-watched news channels when it comes to finance, it makes perfect sense that UFC’s new $1 million man would be willing to talk business.

Just not Diaz.

For much of their awkward, televised encounter (which you can view in the above video), McGregor seemed to be the more talkative fighter, taunting Diaz at every turn. Both men were asked personal questions from how much they were making for this particular bout, as well as if Diaz owed McGregor anything for making him a richer man?

“I don’t owe him sh-t,” Diaz replied.

Personally, I would’ve gotten a lot more peeved at that question, but it was one asking the combatants what UFC needed to do to be in the same league as the NBA or NFL that sent Diaz away for good.
