Gerald Harris’s final fight ended in violent fashion.

An 11-year MMA veteran who was a cast member on The Ultimate Fighter 7 and a four-time UFC competitor, Harris won his 30th career bout with a powerful slam that left opponent Matt McKeon with a broken arm:

Wow! Gerald “Hurricane” Harris finishes his storied career with a patented slam — and a gnarly broken arm for Matt McKeon. #XFN344

Harris’s retirement fight took place at an Xtreme Fight Night event in Tulsa, Okla., on Saturday.

This wasn’t the first time “Hurricane” found victory by trying to drive his opponent through the canvas. The 37-year-old welterweight (who competed primarily at 170 and 185 pounds) defeated future World Series of Fighting dual-division champion David Branch with a slam at UFC 116 back in July 2010, and then did the same to Aaron Cobb last December:

Harris walks away from the sport with a 25-5 professional record.
