When I first heard that Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) interim light heavyweight champion Jon Jones was taking the “Running Man Challenge,” I started laying odds on his chances against Fireball.
Now that’s a super fight.
“They’re Running Men… last season’s winners.”
“No. Last season’s losers.”
To my disappointment, it’s simply a video that features “Bones” pulling his car over — without the involvement of police — and dancing to some song I don’t recognize and would never play. That’s because I have not left my basement in 15 years, but I digress.
Jones — no stranger to dancing — will move on to unify the titles in a rematch against longtime nemesis Daniel Cormier. They’ll do the deed at the upcoming UFC 200 pay-per-view (PPV) event on July 9, 2016 inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada (more on that fight here).
A win for “Bones” will put him up two-zip on Cormier and rid himself of “DC” for the foreseeable future.
