Bellator 199 wasn’t one of the finest moments of Paul Daley’s MMA career, as the British knockout artist found himself arguing and swearing at the commentary team during the third and final round of his co-headlining welterweight bout with Jon Fitch.
In a fight that was strikingly similar to Daley’s UFC grudge match with Josh Koscheck back in 2010, ‘Semtex’ was taken down and almost wrestled into submission by Koscheck’s ex-teammate, Fitch.
There were no punches thrown after the bell in this one, however, but Daley didn’t do himself any favors by yelling ‘f-ck Bellator’ while being pummeled by Fitch.

Daley signed with Bellator in 2015 and has gone on to win five of his eight bouts in the promotion, knocking out the likes of Brennan Ward and Lorenz Larkin, but falling short against Fitch, Rory MacDonald, and Douglas Lima.
The 35-year-old MMA veteran was cut from the UFC after punching Koscheck after the bell at UFC 113, and could find himself penalized after his latest controversial stint under the Bellator banner.
