Bloody Elbow has all the details on ‘GGG’ vs. Jacobs right here, including fight card, fight time, live stream info, results, and more.
On Saturday, March 18th inside Madison Square Garden in Manhattan, New York, reigning WBA/WBC/IBF/IBA middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (36-0, 33 KOs) puts all of his belts on the line once again, this time against heavy-handed Brooklyn native Daniel Jacobs (32-1, 29 KOs), who holds the WBA’s secondary 160 lbs belt. As you may expect, Golovkin is a big favorite, and it’s expected that this won’t require the judges’ scorecards. GGG has won his last 23 fights by KO, while Jacobs is on his own 12-fight knockout streak.
As it the standard for GGG cards, Roman Gonzalez (46-0, 39 KOs) is the co-feature. The Nicaraguan dynamo is considered by many to be the best P4P boxer on the planet, and he’ll be defending his WBC 115 lbs title against Thailand’s Srisaket Sor Rungvisai (41-4-1, 38 KOs), who packs a punch but has also literally never won a fight outside of his home country.
It should be an fun night of boxing in one of the most famous arenas in the world, and Bloody Elbow will be covering it for you throughout the weekend. Here’s all the details you need on tonight’s card, including how to watch it:
