International sports management firm IMG and World Series of Fighting (WSOF) have renewed their partnership, one that that has brought WSOF fights to 70 different countries to date.
World Series of Fighting (WSOF) announced today that it has renewed an agreement with sports management firm IMG. In the past two years of working together, IMG has secured television distribution deals for WSOF events in 70 different countries.
WSOF CEO Carlos Silva offered these thoughts on the deal:
“IMG has been a tremendous partner for our growing MMA sports franchise, so we are thrilled to continue our relationship that has helped expand World Series of Fighting’s footprint on television all over the globe.”
IMG’s partnership has seen WSOF’s reach expand to Australia, Brazil, Germany, Japan and Russia, among others territories.
Fight fans in those coverage areas will have their next chance to watch a WSOF event on Nov. 20, 2015, when the mixed marital arts (MMA) promotion crowns a new challenger for Lightweight champion Justin Gaethje in a one night, eight-man tournament.
