Yoel Romero: Bisping is my duck boi, I will wait and fight him in May

If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is Michael Bisping.

That’s according to Yoel Romero, who was unfazed by reports that his middleweight nemesis and current Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) 185-pound champion is still trying to secure “big-money fights” when the No. 1 contender has already been promised a title shot.

Romero was expected to fight for the division title in early 2016 after turning away fellow 185-pound bruiser Ronaldo Souza; however, “Soldier of God” ran into trouble with United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) and found himself on the bench for six months.

He rebounded with a devastating technical knockout win over ex-champ Chris Weidman at UFC 205 the following November, calling out “The Count” in his post-fight victory speech.

Bisping, whose lone title defense came against Dan Henderson at UFC 204, insists he is sidelined until May as a result of his pending knee surgery but no worries, Romero will be waiting for him.

@bisping I hope you have a good surgery and a speedy recovery. I see you in May boi #ynuevo

Unless something crazy happens between now and then (like this).
