Things get heated and personal between Weidman and Bisping on Twitter.
Chris Weidman defeated Kelvin Gastelum by arm triangle in the 3rd round Saturday night in Long Island.
After the fight he called out Michael Bisping.
Bisping quickly responded: Say my name B***H
Then Weidman called him a b***tch, and then said: sorry I meant cross eyed b***h
Your a f**king piece of s**t. Mocking a fight injury. Well I pray you don’t suffer the same.
And f** you p**sy. When I see you, it’s on.
I’m the champion, you sounded so pathetic, jealousy is one of the deadly sins, shame on you. on your knees and pray harder b**tch
And lastly put your dad on a f***g leash, it’s embarassing.
Hey are you talking to me or are you talking to my dad? I can’t tell who you’re looking at.
When Weidman was the champion in the division, he felt Bisping would be his easiest fight.
Weidman is ranked #5 now at middleweight, Bisping is the current champion.
His UFC title run has been one of the most bizarre ones from it’s inception.
He was a replacement for the injured Chris Weidman when he took on Luke Rockhold for the belt in June 2016, he pulled off a big upset
where he was 6 to 1 underdog in that fight to win the belt, then took on number 14 ranked middleweight Dan Henderson his first
defense in October, then in March of this year the UFC announced that Georges St-Pierre would come out of retirement and move up a weight
class to challenge Bisping for the belt. Despite a press conference taking place, the fight never happened.
Even still it’s not clear who Bisping will fight next. Robert Whittaker just won the interim title on July 8th, but a knee injury might
keep him sidelined until next year. Yoel Romero continues to strongly call out Bisping on social media and vows to stalk him wherever
he goes. Bisping still wants to fight Georges St-Pierre. And now Weidman is calling out Bisping and those two continue add fuel to
With Gegard Mousasi now out of the picture as he has headed to Bellator MMA.
The only other top ranked middleweight scheduled for battle is Luke Rockhold, who takes on David Branch in the headlining fight
of the September 16th card in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania.
