The UFC was notified today by USADA that Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino had a potential anti-Doping Policy violation stemming from
an out-of-competition sample collection on December 5, 2016.
Cyborg tested positive 5 years ago.
Cyborg says: “What I can say now is that they are talking to my doctor, and I’m calm. Everybody knows I’m sick, that I’m recovering from the weight cut I had
to do for the fight. What is happening is post-weight cut. Everybody knows I’m sick. They are talking to my doctor to solve this the best way. “It’s nothing bad.
I’m on medical treatment.”
Cyborg turned down fights for the featherweight title against Holly and Germaine, stating the weight cut would be to hard to make by February.
She was upset that they made a title fight without her and stated: “Yesterday, there were no girls in my division. Today, they rush to make a belt.”
And said: I accept fight Hollyy in UFC Brazil. I don’t know they change opponents.’
Fabricio Werdum is an underdog for his fight against Cain Velasquez but Werdum could be a good fighter to bet on because Cain is already scheduled to
get back surgery 5 days after the fight and is using medical marijuana to dull the intense pain.
